Social Media Intern

Location: Wilmington, NC office

 

Description:  Mary Hannah Interiors is expanding! We are looking for an energetic, organized individual who loves working in a team environment! Starting out as an intern to learn the ropes, our ideal candidate will keep our social media channels spicy with design and personality all while conveying our aesthetic, brand and core values.

Responsibilities:

• Organize social media posts with proper credit where credit is due

• Collaborate and work closely with our marketing intern

• Schedule posts on a calendar weeks in advance that also coincide with our marketing intern's efforts

• Spearhead new fun ideas for our brand

• Inspire our followers 

• Increase follower engagement and follower count

• Pursue reposts and features from other brands, vendors and print sources like magazines

• Keep track of what's been posted to avoid repeats or boring content 

• Foster a true social media community among other designers and our followers

Qualifications:

• Proven marketing experience, ideally specific social media marketing experience

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task 

• Attention to detail

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• A great, easy-going but on-top-of-it attitude

• Photography or videography skills are a plus

​

Time Requirement: We’re looking for a part-time committed employee free of working for other design firms, designers or brands.
