Turning Your House into Home - Week 3: Mudroom
Turning your House into Home - Week 3: Mudroom
With our new blog series “Turning your House into Home," we’re letting you in on another secret in transforming a space into your nest. Mudrooms are the element we are spotlighting this week. For all of us here at Mary Hannah Interiors, we cherish the modern day mudroom because our childhood homes had this essential family-dedicated area. This “catch all” corner of the house serves many purposes from storing sport gear to school supplies.
This space allows each child and adult to have a “locker” of his or her own. It’s also a great place to store pet supplies and food. This area acts as an interactive closet that hides most of your everyday items! A drop off spot for shoes, coats, hats, bags and bags, outfitted with hooks, cubbies, cabinets and baskets, a mudroom is a worthy investment for your family’s daily lifestyle and needs. Scroll through, and let us know how these ideas inspire you to incorporate this room in your home!
