Meet the Makers: Hatchet and Hammer

Because the success of our team at Mary Hannah Interiors extends beyond our internal team, we want to highlight one arm of our crew in our Meet the Makers series. Today we are showcasing the two guys who bring our millwork dreams to life - Dan and Matt of Hatchet and Hammer.

Dan has been with me from the beginning, installing built-in benches and thin brick in kitchens, to name a few. He and Matt joined forces last year to form Hatchet and Hammer, and they haven't skipped a beat. Peruse some of the projects we've collaborated on for MHI's awesome clients. Which space would you deem your favorite?

Dan (on the left) and Matt are key contributors in our creations. Their skilled millwork (and more!) helps us achieve a higher level of detail, elevate the non-replicable design of our clients' homes, and offer a depth of dimension and texture to our projects. Check out a few of the awesome spaces they've been a part of over the years!

Dan constructed this amazing shiplap-donned built-in bench and installed thin brick in our client's breakfast nook for that fun, farmhouse feel.

Here's a sneak peek of Dan and Matt's handiwork on a headboard wall in a master suite. This space has since been painted and will be photographed next month.

Dan and Matt installed this clean cottage millwork on our client's remodeled fireplace and installed towering shiplap in our client's man cave.

This headboard wall has been a crowd favorite that Dan and Matt to perfectly installed. To recreate this look, visit our DIY blogpost dedicated to it!

Here's a family-friendly built-in bench that Dan constructed for our client's breakfast nook.

Dan and Matt did an excellent job wrapping this bedroom and bathroom in beadboard in our client's guest suite.
